Hawaii Psychic Medium Yoshie Miakoda Chihara,

Aloha,

I’m writing to acknowledge and thank so many of you who came to the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo at the Hawaii Convention Center this past weekend.

It was such a pleasure to have met you. I feel so very privileged to have had the opportunities to offer my services to you.

Thank you so much to those who came over to say 'hi'. I was overjoyed to see you again.
Thank you so much to those who have referred your friends, family, co-workers, and other like minded people to me. Thanks to you I was fully booked all day Saturday and Sunday. I didn’t even have time to eat lunch on Sunday ;-).

Thank you to the two lovely ladies who offered me a power drink and power bar, so that I could continue offering services up until the end of the event.

To those who attended my lecture, thanks so much for your lovely comments and feedback. I enjoyed being with you during that hour, and am grateful for your time to share my passion with you.

The Expo was a blast and an amazing experience. Without your participation and support, it would not have been possible. Thank you!!!

Thank you again and I hope to see you soon.

With much aloha,

Yoshie

Have but one purpose; to be given God
To use to bless the world with miracles."

Many sitters tend to get very excited and are extremely impressed with the ability of an accurate psychic/medium who is able to pick up information surrounding the sitters, their past and present situations and also their loved ones in the Spirit World. This response to accurate evidence, and the trust building that it supports, while welcome can easily become misused or abused by an unscrupulous medium.  The trust that a sitter develops with their medium over issues of the Spirit World, which the uninitiated are unfamiliar or inexperienced with, makes them vulnerable to statements and opinions of the psychic/medium that go beyond appropriate decorum and their professional expertise.  The sitter who wholeheartedly believes whatever the medium  /  psychic tells them about their future can be subject to an unscrupulous medium’s personal prejudices and egotistical pronouncements.

It is true that a very competent medium is sometimes able to receive information about the sitter’s future from the Spirit World. However, an inexperienced or unscrupulous medium, sensing the sitter’s vulnerability and their willingness to believe whatever they say, may decide to make up forecasts regarding the sitter’s future even though they have not received information from the Spirits.  They may do this in order to keep the sitter impressed with their skill.  An unscrupulous medium may fib or exaggerate over what information and the type of contact they are capable of making. They may even go as far as claiming they are linking with the sitter’s deceased loved ones and giving the impression that they are in contact with the Spirit World.

Psychics and Mediums are naturally good observers and they can use that particular skill to get clues and fish for information by observing people’s reactions and body language. In addition to observing body language and reactions, psychics and mediums can get cues about their sitters by “tuning into” to their sitters’ aura. They can pick up information about the sitters’ deceased loved ones, for example, their names, personality, shared memories, etc., without actually connecting with spirits in the spirit world.  However, uninformed sitters being impressed by this display, would naturally assume that the psychic  /  medium is in contact with their deceased loved ones in the spirit world.

This misleading or deceptiveness is not only unfair to the sitter, but is damaging to the profession and to other mediums.

As a medium myself, I’m very keen to witness how other professional mediums work with the spirit world, and have been fortunate enough to have had quite a few sittings with proficient and principled mediums.  Nevertheless, before I came into spiritualism I had several readings from some “famous psychics” and had had unpleasant experiences.  One devious and dodgy tactic used was that they would immediately ask questions about my life situation and from what I said they would draw conclusions about my future life.  They said, for example, that I would get divorced within one year which didn’t happen. One such psychic asked if I had an older man in the spirit world which I responded in the affirmative, while letting the psychic know that my father-in-law is in the spirit world.  The psychic went on to say that my father in-law was in a held-up place because he wants to come back to earth so badly, and that he wouldn’t listen to his guides in the spirit world – something I believed at the time.  This type of information can give stress rather than comfort to a sitter and certainly goes against the one of the purposes of mediumship, which is to give comfort and healing to the bereaved.

The bottom line is that the psychic or medium is there to bring healing to their sitters instead of harming and misleading the vulnerable. Unfortunately there are those psychics and mediums who choose to practice an unethical form of mediumship and psychic readings whether with or without their conscious awareness.

Eira Conacher - Dead Publisher Returns

If I tell you about a certain aspect of life here on a specific sphere, that in itself is a mere speck in one of the many, many spheres of activity. Were I to depict to you a great city and some of the life in that city, it would be only a very minute part of even one sphere. But that is where I have spent much time lately.

Visualise an antique city – shall we say in ancient Greece – with beautiful buildings and great domed roofs built from mother of pearl, suffused with a great light which is not an intense brilliance like the sun, but a beautiful soft glowing radiance. From these buildings pastel colours come which catch the light and reflect it making everything into a fairyland, you might say, since the buildings themselves look as if they are suspended in space!

Some of these great buildings house great libraries. There are places where one can go to read or study, where one can go back into past lives and histories of peoples and races. Some of these books are most beautifully illustrated. The workmanship again beggars description.

Also you find all manner of costumes, although most people wear a sort of long flowing toga in varied colours and hues, often according to their mood. Most colours are very delicate, but occasionally brilliant purples, mauves, blues and pinks can be seen. All kinds of materials are used. You would be surprised.

Everything that man wants to constitute an existence where beauty is the supreme factor is possible. As I have said, there are great cities here, and also all forms of nature with beautiful birds of many hues. In the countryside, in the forests and fields, you would find such loveliness in nature itself. There is such beauty in the colour of the grass, in the towering trees and in the flowers which sometimes are very different from what you know on earth.
You find people here who take great joy and delight in developing and looking after a garden, and who bring into being a great deal of beauty indirectly from themselves. A man’s garden may become almost a mirror reflecting what he himself is like. Everything here reflects people, and people in return reflect the conditions under which they exist.

Great beauty and loveliness are to be found in the mountains also. If you want to climb them you can, but it is not necessary. Here, although we walk and our feet touch the ground, we also know that by the very desire to do so, we can transport ourselves vast distances to other aspects of life.

Often we visit other spheres nearer the earth where conditions of life are very different. Nevertheless we feel the need sometimes to enter into them, perhaps to help individuals whose needs are many and great. There you often find a depressing state of being, from the point of view that there is little colour. In fact, the world in which some people live is a sort of monochrome in which colour seems to play no part at all. But to them it is quite natural, and they do not understand (or perhaps have not reached the point when they want to understand) that there are other conditions of life more evolved and more beautiful.

Everything is a state of mind, and man evolves accordingly. Beauty is something which man, unconsciously, creates by his own effort. When man desires and works for and appreciates beauty, then he gradually surrounds himself with it. He enters into a state of life of indescribable beauty because artists and people of great intelligence and spiritual evolution have created this condition.

Great painters still paint here. They feel the need to express themselves in colour and in form, creating works of art which surround many of our buildings. Great artists will sometimes take over in a new building and paint various subjects on the walls for decoration.

We have also places of what you would term religion – that is temples – but they are by no means narrow and confined in their outlook and thought. They are Temples of the Mind where man can enter and by his very thought process so aspire that the whole place becomes vibrant with music and colour. They are places in which you feel you are (and indeed, you are) reaching out into other spheres.

We live in a kind of communal state, but it is a perfect community because all the peoples live in harmony and love together as brothers and sisters. There is no one who stresses authority, and yet a kind of authority does exist to which one always willingly subscribes. There are no leaders in the sense that you understand it, but nevertheless there are people whom we know to be more highly evolved, and whom we respect and regard and accept as such. No person who is very progressed ever tries to force others in any shape or form, or makes any other individual conform. Then, too, we realise that if man is to progress, he must be free.

The only real form of progression is freedom of spirit to express yourself and to evolve gradually according to the instruction and the guidance which you receive. In other words, we must do, not just think. We must expound. Having expounded, we demonstrate. We know all things are possible, but we must make the effort.

Please don't be afraid to do what you love to do this year! Be brave and do what you love to do this year!!! The reason why you love to do something is because your soul has the ability to master the very thing that you love to do. Take a step forward in faith, keep moving forward, and never look back. What is waiting for you is something very precious and beautiful beyond your imagination than what you have left behind... so long as you keep your mind and spirit in the power of  the Great Spirit. Looking back on something that did not work is a very act of stepping out of your power.  Stay in your soul power and follow the very things that make your heart sing and fill your whole being with that intense joy!

When you try something you love and even if it didn't go well the first time, be proud of the very first step you have taken because you have surely moved many steps closer to mastering what you love;-)...and also be proud of yourself for not giving up!  Just remember YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

Wishing you all a beautiful, amazing 2013!

Love,

Yoshie Miakoda Chihara

By Yoshie Miakoda Chihara

Through the lens of sadness and despair the world looks cold and dark.

The smell of a brush fire nearby.
What once was a field filled with tall grass is now smoldering lifelessness.

Where is hope? Where is the vitality of life? Where is the joy of living?

Time passes.

The field is covered in small sprouts rising out of a blackened void.

Hope!

Life!

New lives being born. New beauty.

Realization of life force’s power.

Then heard the voice of Spirit:

You plant seeds awaiting growth and blossoms’ beauty.
You were planted on earth to grow and blossom to enjoy life’s beauty, not to live in sadness and despair.

When old dies, new sprouts forth.
The cycle of life continues.

Leave behind heartaches and pains.
Leave behind desperate tales that paint minds into darkness.

Welcome new beginnings.

Trust the life force within and rejoice in eternal life’s enfoldment.

You are meant to grow and  blossom.
The power of eternal life force and Spirit within and without propels us.

All dreams are placed along your path.
Just focus and trust.

Know the power that lies within and you will discover the joy of living.

All is well.

Enjoy the journey.
